Wrapping up my first week of college here, and holy shit. Normally, I have way too much time. So much that I never get anything done. Now I have so much time, I'm actually drawing again O.O

I could start a long, bitchy rant about how much I hate it here, but I'll keep it relative to my dA. At least now, I can actually USE dA. I just got my wireless set up a couple of days ago. A massive leap from dial-up, where by the time I had loaded my messages, I was too pissed off to check anything. (The newest version of dA RAPES slower connections.) BUT, there are so many blocks and limits on the campus internet. It's ridiculous. Meh... at least I can watch videos on Youtube.

Well, I thought that buying a tablet notebook would help my productivity since I wouldn't be tied down to the computer desk (Where I've become too sick of to sit at for long). It did... kinda. I bought it used on eBay for $217, so it was a steal. Problem is, it didn't come with the stylus. So I searched around for the stylus -- finding the manufacturer's wholesale... for $50. For the bargain I got on the laptop, I could certainly spare the expense. BUT, why not search for it used on say... eBay again? I didn't expect to find it really, but I'm cheap as fuck, so I looked anyway. Surprisingly, I -did- find it. For $22 at that, because the clippy-thingy broke off and couln't be retailed. (Why would anyone need to clip a stylus to anything anyway? O_o) Anywho, so I bought it. Got it. Actually DREW some... and lost it like 2 days later. More like Dad probably thought it was a dead pen and threw it away since I left it on the kitchen counter. Now I'm stuck in a dorm room with no way of submitting (I can no longer get those oh-so-prompt updates to you guys. Sorry XD). I've drawn some on paper, but it doesn't help that I don't have a scanner here, and I'll have to wait for the weekends to scan. But that's just for scanning. I'll try to submit something digitally soon. That's right. That means I have another stylus on the way. This time I'll definitely keep it in the stylus slot when I'm not using it, too =w=
